About The Nest

Is The Nest a hotel?
No. The Nest is a private concierge and travel curation service. We don’t own properties — we work with the finest riads, hotels, villas, and desert camps in and around Marrakech, and we curate stays and experiences end-to-end on your behalf.
Where are you based?
We are based in Marrakech, Morocco. Our team is on the ground year-round, which is why we can move quickly on last-minute requests and visit every property and supplier we recommend.
Who is The Nest for?
Travellers who want their time in Marrakech to feel personal rather than packaged. Couples, families, groups of friends, creative residencies, milestone celebrations, corporate retreats. We tailor every trip from the ground up.

Booking & process

How does the booking process work?
Send us an inquiry through our form, by email, or WhatsApp. We respond within 24 hours with a personalised proposal: suggested properties, dates, pricing, and supplier-specific cancellation rules. The booking is confirmed once you accept the proposal in writing and we’ve received the agreed deposit.
How far in advance should I book?
For most stays, two to three months ahead is comfortable. For peak weeks (Christmas, New Year, Easter, Eid) and for events like weddings, four to six months is wise. That said, we work last-minute too — just write to us.
Do you arrange flights?
We don’t book flights directly, but we’re happy to advise on routings and connections. Once you have your flight details, we coordinate everything from the airport onward: greeting, transfer, riad welcome.
What payment methods do you accept?
Bank transfer (EUR or MAD), and direct payment to suppliers where their systems allow it. Specific terms are detailed in your proposal. We do not store payment card details on our systems.

Pricing & cancellation

How does pricing work?
Quotes are tailored to your trip and shared with you in writing. Most include accommodation, transfers, and any experiences we arrange directly. Tourist tax, gratuities, and incidentals you settle on the spot are noted separately.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation rules vary by supplier and the specific service booked. The exact terms applicable to your booking are set out in your proposal. Where we hold deposits on behalf of suppliers, refunds follow those suppliers’ policies.
Are prices in EUR or MAD?
Both are common in Morocco. We typically quote in EUR for international guests and MAD where useful. The proposal will be clear about the currency and payment schedule.

On the ground

What languages does your team speak?
Our concierge team works in English, French, Spanish, and Arabic. Many of our drivers and guides are also multilingual.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely. Many of the riads, villas, and experiences we work with are family-friendly. Tell us the ages and any specific needs, and we’ll select properties and activities that fit naturally.
Is Marrakech wheelchair accessible?
The medina’s narrow lanes and stepped riads can be challenging. The Hivernage and Palmeraie areas, and modern hotels and villas, offer better accessibility. Tell us your needs and we’ll match you with properties that work.
What about tipping?
Tipping (“baksheesh”) is part of Moroccan hospitality culture. We’ll share guidance with you before arrival so it never feels guessed.
Do I need a visa?
Most EU, UK, US, and Gulf nationalities can enter Morocco visa-free for up to 90 days. We always recommend confirming with the Moroccan embassy in your country before booking flights, as rules can change.

Privacy & ethics

Will my information be shared?
Only with the suppliers needed to fulfil your booking, and only the minimum required (name, dates, party size, relevant preferences). We never sell your data, never share it for marketing, and never run advertising trackers on our site. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
Can I see what cookies you use?
